What do I need to rent a car?

Just your valid driver’s license (international or Lao) and a passport. Drivers must be at least 21 and have held a license for 12 months.

Can I rent a car with a driver?

Yes, we offer flexible driver hire for guests who prefer local expertise or want to sit back and enjoy the scenery.

Is insurance included?

All DecorGarde rentals include comprehensive local insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance.

Are there mileage limits?

No, mileage is unlimited within Luang Prabang province. Longer trips can be arranged—just ask!

How do I pay for my rental?

Pay on arrival by cash (LAK, USD, THB) or by card. A small deposit may be required for select vehicles.
